Job Description

The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying business needs, gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing business processes, and supporting the delivery of technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

Requirements Management

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain User Requirements Specifications (URS), Business Requirements Documents (BRD), and Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS).
  • Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.

Process Analysis and Improvement

  • Perform gap analyses and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and business models.
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with business users, developers, and project teams.
  • Facilitate requirements review sessions and obtain stakeholder sign-off.
  • Provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.

Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Develop test scenarios, test scripts, and test cases.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate that implemented solutions meet business requirements.

Documentation

  • Produce business analysis artifacts including use cases, process flows, user stories, and requirements documentation.
  • Maintain project documentation and requirements traceability.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or a related field.
  • Business Analysis training or certifications are advantageous.
  • 1–3 years' experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, ECM, or related roles.
  • Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Exposure to software development or systems implementation projects.
  • Proficiency in Business Process Modelling.
  • Expertise in Requirements Engineering.
  • Skilled in Use Case Development.
  • Ability to document workflows effectively.
  • Knowledge of SQL Fundamentals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Lucidchart.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio.
  • Competency in Draw.io.
  • Ability to develop Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs).
  • Strong Analytical Thinking abilities.
  • Effective Problem Solving skills.

  • Capability in Stakeholder Management.
