Job Description

The Software Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through structured testing processes, defect management, and collaboration with development and business teams. The role supports the software development lifecycle by reviewing requirements, designing test scenarios, executing testing activities, documenting results, and improving application quality through effective QA practices.

Requirements

National Diploma in Information and Communications Technology (Applications Development) or equivalent qualification. Experience in software testing and quality assurance processes. Experience managing test cases and defects using Azure DevOps. Experience conducting regression testing and UAT coordination. Experience creating technical documentation and user guides. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.

Added Advantages

IsiZulu proficiency advantageous. Microsoft Power BI Analyst Course exposure. Additional software testing or QA certifications advantageous.
